Floppy Drive M0130 400K with insertion and ejection problems

Hi all, I finally managed to buy a Macintosh 512K with its external floppy drive (Model M0130 400K). The problem is that the internal mechanism that holds the floppy disk is constantly lowered (as if the floppy was already inserted), and with the upper felt arm that touches and presses (correctly) the magnetic surface. So to insert the floppy I necessarily have to push the side lever (the one for manual ejection, to be clear), and then insert the floppy; the latter will be inserted automatically thanks to the spring mechanism, but no help from the ejection motor in this operation.
Once the floppy is in place, the computer can read and write normally. When I try to eject the floppy (dragging the floppy icon to the trash), as you can see clearly in the video (there is a link below), the ejection motor works to do so, but it makes a full turn and then the mechanism, along with the floppy, goes back in again (this is also clearly visible in the video). No gear is broken and the motor works. The only thing that leaves me in doubt is that the mechanism should make a half turn when the floppy is inserted and a half turn when the floppy is ejected, instead it makes a full turn, thus constantly keeping the floppy carriage inside.
Has anyone had my problem?
Thanks in advance!

Did you check the switch for the ejection mechanism with a multimeter that it will actually open/short properly? I think the floppy drive need this switch to indicate the position of the eject motor, pressed by the white cam.

Yes, I tried with a multimeter.
The switch when pressed by the White cam, the contact is open. While, when the White cam no longer presses it, the contact is closed (the multimeter indicates continuity). Basically the motor stops working when the White cam presses that switch again. To have the drawer open that allows the floppy to enter, I should have the White cam exactly on the other end, but the motor makes a complete turn.
I just saw a video on YouTube of the behavior of the motor and the white cam, and it seems that the behavior is exactly like mine; only that in that video I saw the drawer remains ready to insert the floppy, while in my case it goes back in

Hi, you have got a jammed mecanism here.

The electrical side is ok, but probably the old grease is not helping here.

When the eject motor works, the bottom arm is pulled and the small protuding pin you see on the left picture should drop and the small bracket above should lock it in place, preventing your issue here.

I cannot see any of those parts in motion in your video.

This is a common issue with those drives, the full carrier should be removed, old grease removed and new one applied when all parts are working freely again.

Thanks bibilit, it was exactly that pin that was stuck and wouldn't move because of the old grease. I cleaned and oiled it and now it works perfectly!
