Floppy disks not working with mac classic

The floppy disks ive got are sony 10mfd-2hd cfm mac formated floppy disks they work on my other mac but not the classic i can format and verify them but then it says initialization failed ive cleaned the floppy drive read write head with ipa and still nothing. Also is this normal it looks lop sided

Disk is not fallen down all the way down.

Probably an issue with the upper carrier or the eject mecanism.

If you have not, you should disassemble the drive, clean, and lube all the contact points. There are some good videos on youtube about how to do it, it is not very complicated, just takes a bit of time.
