First hand Apple II Europlus!

I can't believe it's true. A nice lady asked on a swiss forum I'm on if anyone would be interested in getting her faithful Apple II Europlus she got new back in 1982. And I was the first one to answer, so all I have to do is drive about two hours to get it!

She says it's nearby pristine, with original docs and receipe. I wish it's already next week!

How what?

Don't know anything more yet. I'll get it on saturday! I offered to pay something, and she said like €50. Pretty nice!

You'll get some picture as soon as I'm back home with it!

So, yesterday I drove 190 km and back, and I'm the new proud owner of that Apple ][ Europlus (actually a ][+ without color NTSC video out), a Philips monitor, (only) one Disk ][ drive, two strange looking game controllers, a few floppies and a huge load of books and docs, including the original manuals and a copy of the purchase receipt.

Seems to work pretty well! It's a bit dirty and dusty, and needs a full cleaning. Not all the floppies seem to be functional, sadly. And worse, there are some Apple-labelled original disks that contain nothing more than personal-written programs and datas...

But it's a great find, anyway! Now I'll hunt down for a cheap 16K language card for it, to be able to use ProDOS and share disks with my IIgs.

I'll take pictures of the whole setup and share as soon as I can!

And expect to see me very soon in the dedicated forum asking for help. There are a couple of games, but the paddles don't seem to work just yet.
