I have been looking for a G4 Mini 1.5Ghz for a while now. They aren't hard to find, just hard to find in mint condition, no yellowing, at a good price. Got one for $100 today. I ordered a IDE SSD for it and a slot loading Blu Ray burner also IDE
Nice! What do you plan to do with it? I have one also I picked up locally. I have a lot of older Macs... I like that it's so compact. I'd almost prefer a Cube, but this one seems like it would faster and even more compact.
They make a *fabulous* MacOS 9 workstation. Super fast. A few things don't work like sleep but that's less important on a desktop. A bit of messing about to get the install done in the first place admittedly

Let me know what you do get around the sound problems. That & the odd DVI-connectivity are what irk me most about MacOS 9 on the mac mini G4.
BTW, be careful about putting in an mSATA adapter. When I did it with mine, the DVD-drive wasn't recognised anymore. It was much faster but the DVD-drive was more important.
I do agree with you, mac mini G4s are super Mac OS 9 machines. I'm playing Deus Ex on mine at the moment and the gameplay is super,
A little external USB DAC will work in the G4 mini to take care of audio in and out I think. Mine cost $3 or something crazy and was intended for a Raspberry Pi.
