LOL. Because since MacOS 8 it was easy to change the System Font, I quickly went to Gadget -- never really liked the standard Charcoal, although I may be biased by other interface atrocities of OS 8... :(

It's what I use in my 8.6+ machines.

 
I thoroughly enjoyed Impact when I was using OS 9. I think it looks really cool when you set it as all the fonts.

 
Apple Chancery is my fav. :D Why? It's just got a nice flowing feel to it. I even converted it so I could use it on Windows. (For Photoshop.)

I usually leave the system fonts at their default.

 
I personally like Chicago and Geneva. They look great and give my assignments a more nostalgic appearance.

Speaking of vintage fonts: CT, did you ever complete development on that Brampton font you advised me about in 2010?

 
Brampton is still in development. It has a pretty large repertoire now, and then late in the game I decided to change the serifs and spacing throughout. That's rather tedious, so it's slowed me down quite a bit.
