I just googled the filename from the dead FTP link and that was the first hit. So I didn't have to try and navigate the site

Thanks! Still, no luck. The card is not been recognized by OS8.1 Can't choose Ethernet from TCP/IP settings. Am i doing something badly wrong, or just, an dead card?

Tried another PCI-socket, no dice.

It appears that yours is PCI card, but that installer is for NuBus cards.

I did a bit of research, and it looks that Farallon is long gone and MacOS drivers are really hard to find. The only place I could find is this one, so go and grab them:

Thanks a million! If the file actually is this one: PN996v1.1.sit.hqx, it seems to be around still quite a bit luckily. Downloaded it and let's see if it works. Can't boot the machine right now, everybody would wake up :b&w:
