Farallon EtherMac Problems

Hello, I am trying to use a new EtherMac adapter to set up macipgw. I have tried the image, and on my Pi, but the link light just blinks irregularly, and the Ethernet status does not light. Can I have some help?

Nice you test MacIPgw! But first get you on the LAN.

Can you connect to an old 10/100 hub or switch?No Ethernet light means no LAN connection.

Could be a modern switch problem.

Does the type of ethernet cable matter?

Well, it turns out I needed a crossover cable. I set my port to a 10mb half duplex, plugged in the cable, and BAM! It works! Now to set up MacIPGW.

Do you still have to alter the routing tables? or did you fix that?

Full nat now. So big YES! Just startup the VM and it will work.
