Fading lettering on Colour Classic

I have the chance to get a non-working Colour Classic, but my issue with it is that the Colour Classic lettering is fading. Is there any quality way to fix this? I am terrible at writing so I don't think I could do it.

The nameplate clips off, so you could source another plate, or remove altogether and replicate the font and style in a transfer.
