F-keys Apple Keyboard II w/Griffin iMate?

I'm running Leopard 10.5.5 and using an old Apple Keyboard II with Griffin iMate plugged into USB. It works perfectly, but does anyone know if it's possible to simulate F-keys via some kind of key combination?

I seldom need F-keys, but I'd like to know if it's possible just in case I should need to for some reason.

Try the shareware iKey. It permits to invoke any key sequence by a shortcut of your choice.

BTW: Similar solutions for the Classic Mac OS are MacroKey and KeyQuencer (great, with AppleScript support OSAX).

In case one sticks to the footprint of the Keyboard II but needs real function keys, one might consider to get a MacAlly MK-96 keyboard.
