Your apple badge is definitely different from mine. Mine has a brown box around it. But that machine right there is certainly unique. I haven't seen anything like it. Mine has a dark beige set of keys. But the case plastics seem to be the same under all of the dirt.
This must have been a European model. The keyboard is a giveaway, plus I've never seen this in the States. For those of you living in Europe--were they limited to specific markets?
The 5.25" drives were available in both colors. The earlier beige model was called UniDisk 5.25" and the later platinum variety the Apple 5.25" Drive. There are slight internal differences between the two models but both serve the same basic purpose when connected to the IIe.
The DuoDisk was a unit with two 5.25" drives next to each other. It was as wide as a IIe and was designed to sit between the IIe and a monitor.
