Ebay mac SE video adaptor

It's a cable which plugs into the SE's logic board and internal display cable, but piggybacks what looks roughly like a VGA port for external use. Any ideas?

It may appear to be "VGA-like" but it is "VGA-like" in the same sense that some substances are "food-like."

These adapters allow you to connect to a TTL-type monitor. Finding modern monitors that will sync to a classic Mac's particular rates is probably a bit challenging.

The circuitry, by the way, is the same as described in "classicmac2.pdf". Aside from the cables and connectors, all you need are a couple of inverters (one IC will do) and you're off to the races.
