So.. todays acquisition is one that I’ve been building the parts for for a while now.. it desperately needs a retrobrite but other than that it’s in pretty good condition. I’m not aware of anyone else who has one of these in the UK.. I’m excited I now have a LC 520

It still amuses me how they evolved the Colour Classic design into ... that.

This one was smashed up in shipping, but I was able to get the replacement parts needed to repair it!

And yeah.. it is uuuuuuggggllly. Part of the reason why I’ve always wanted one tbh.

I went down to collect a few machines from a WEEE recycling centre.. but came away with about 2x as many as was in the auction photos.

How does this work? Where did you find the auction? I've never seen any way of getting stuff from recycling centres here.

They used to have "recycling centres' attached to dumps a few years back in the west Midlands, but I haven't seen one since I moved to the east mids.
