Duo screen fix?

So this duo is really being a pain. Now the scren does this. Removed new caps and cleaned but still the same. Is it possible the lcd cable or the lcd just wants to die?

If you're really lucky, it's just an open via or trace on the panel's PCB. Chances are though that the caps damaged connections in the driver ribbon that sits right next to them, in which case that panel is toast. Look really close at the cable next to the caps and check for dark spots (corrosion).

Yeah, second what @3lectr1cPPC said. I have found in my cases that when I see only a section of the screen like that (consecutive rows for part of the screen), it’s usually the ribbons on the side of the LCD panel that lifted off or got damaged and at that point it’s toast. I have found no good ways to fix it.

I had one panel that I successfully fixed vinegar syndrome on, no dust, it was perfect but while putting it together one of the ribbons lifted off and I lost about 20 pixel rows on the bottom and could never fix it.

Yeah really sucks. It did work perfectly at first with know issues. Then it just started doing that. Will take a closer look and see. Thanks for the info.
