Dove Marathon Racer 68020 on a Macintosh SE

Does anyone know if this is worth something? Is it a good upgrade? Its inside a Macintosh SE M5011 my friend gave me.

Thanks, -Zach

Nice little upgrade, will probably increases the speed by about three times in benchmarks, bit less in real world use.

Do you have any photos? @Marsu might be interested.

Nice board - didn't expect it to have RAM. It will likely give you 4x speed over the stock SE. Its basically an SE/30 processor wise.

Ram sticks or bad or need to be cleaned, system says 512kb ram.

Yes, reseat the RAZm and check that the jumpers/resistors for the amount of RAM in the main board's dlots are set right.

Is Compact Virtual installed? In Control Panel?

I can’t check, the vacuum of the crt got let out. I’m ordering a new CRT and il be able to check then.

Thanks, il check it out.

Edit: Seems like its a different dove upgrade for the SE/30. I have the SE Model m5011. That upgrade has a 68030 on it too.
It talks about the '030 version, but if you read further it talks about the '020 version, or at lists it in one of the charts. It's been a while since I read through it.
