Dollar Tree goodies

Today at Dollar Tree, I got a few things:

2 USB male to female cables (60")

2 Firewire 400 cables (24")

USB notebook light

Memory card case

4 electric outlet grounders

Grand total: $8

Not too too Mac-related, but I found out that Dollar Tree can be an awesome source for cheap cables. They're pretty good quality, too.

Yeah, mine's has a lot of stuff like that too. A lot of short ethernet cables too. I didn't see FW400 cables there, but that was a while ago, so I think I'll go to see if I can't get one or two.

Yeah, we've got a few cheap stores like that around here. For what you pay, the cables are pretty good quality. Most of my network cabling is el cheapo "Sansai" stuff from Crazy Clarks. Works bloody well though, and is just as good quality as the name brand stuff, just much cheaper.

I would love if my dollar store had Ethernet cables, sadly, only phone cables.
