Does this vram work with Quadra 700?

Hi

Does MAC 512KVRAM cubig F2T-B9 94V-0 memory work withmy quadra 700. Memory is from Apple HPV (High Performance Video), 2 Mt VRAM (PowerMac 7100/8100 PDS).

The quadra 700 only uses 256k vram chips. Six slots filled, gives you 2mb total (512k on board). It takes 512k's but only sees 256k of them.

So with four 512k chips i get 1.5mb vram?

How do i know that vram chips are compatible with quadra 700?
