I presume you mean for those Conquests/Softwares/*NIXen that are off-topic in the regular forums for those?
For non-vintage conquests, unix, software...
It's quite obvious already what the results of this meaningless poll will be, a resounding "no" from the majority of members. This is a forum for discussion of vintage Macs and other Mac-related topics for owners of 68k and older PPC Macs. All other discussion is welcome in the Lounge.
I know... there should imho be sub-forums of the lounge to keep it from being quite so cluttered.
For now there's unlikely to be additional subforum creation going on. We're still working on cleaning out the old Peripherals/Software/*nix/Conquests forums based on the new more strict guidelines on what goes into those spaces.
The Lounge is cluttered by design, it's like that side-table or extra desk you have near the front door of your home where you leave everything as you walk in, not being 100% sure where to put things.
If you're unhappy with the thought of your Windows or OS X related thread being lost, or with your post about a cold you have being bumped off the first page, you may want to post those things on a blog or another forum.
It's fine with me, of course -- but that's just because I like those types of topics, and haven't myself bothered to join another forum. (bad example moderator sets somewhat bad examples sometimes, although when was the last time I even created a topic in the lounge? not super-relevant but whatevs.)

The fact that moderation had to step in and intervene regarding non-68k stuff proves that you are indeed wrong, it isn't focused.
However, I have taken the suggestion to start a new forum for off topic stuff, this will prove whether people will actually take time to join another forum for this type of discussion. http://newmla.hostei.com/forums .

Also I'll have to wait for the review to get done, there sure isn't any illegal content on the site.Well, I think the NewMLA was a success, it proves that even if there was an off-topic forum away from the 68kmla, nobody would join it. Now, it would be nice if there were forums here for off-topic stuff, not necessarily subforums, so that everything has place instead of being forced into the lounge.
Also, I would like to inquire as to why it was even though of as a problem the people were, for example, posting Mac OS X stuff in the Software forum. The entire time I've been a member of these forums it never seemed to be a problem.

If there are going to be sub-forums of the Lounge I recommend having one for newer Macs and Apple components, one for PC and other computers and operating systems (which could include video game consoles), one for automobiles (since there seem to be a lot of car threads), and one for everything else.
The sub-forums would include a broad range of items (for example, the newer Mac forum would have discussions about hardware, OS X, iPods, iPhones, OS X software, etc). It would keep the "anything goes" element of the lounge to some extent but would also organize some of the content in a logical manner.
