Dlink DWL-G122 Usb Adapter

Found pretty cheaply the above usb wireless stick this morning (1,5 euros)

managed to get it working with the Ralink driver (Dlink won't work at all)

The Powermac G4 is now wireless... posting right now from it.

The stick is managing WPA and Strength is 100 % :b&w:

pretty happy to find an Airport alternative.

I have a DWL-122 (not G)- it's a tricky thing to get working, because it uses prism2 based wireless. Linux is normally fine with it except for the Prism chipsets on USB, which requires black magic to get working.

Works kinda fine on my old Pavilion though. My Presario didn't like it because the controller is 1.0, and the thing in 1.1 or 2.0.
