Did I break it? I think I broke it. I blame the Chiefs

On a 270c who’s keyboard works (sort of) I Disassembled and cleaned the corrosion off keyboard membrane wire traces with an eraser (while watching The Chiefs fumble the Super Bowl — mistakes were made) :/

In doing so my distracted brain 1) I knocked off the shift lock LED. 2) I also didn’t release the tabs on the 2 keyboard ribbon cable ZIF’s but pulled them out with force being applied by the latches (it was hard to do and I was stupid not looking to see if there was a release)

I’ve reassembled it and now the keyboard it totally unresponsive. The ribbon cables are pushed in all
The way and locked down.

I haven’t tried bridging the led with foil to see if that open kills the keyboard. (Does it?)

Is there a diy way to reattach the led without buying specialized equipment? (I do have a simple soldering iron)

Did I by chance ruin the ZIF sockets by pulling out the ribbon with latches still engaged?

Did the eraser treatment ruin the wire traces?

What do I do at this point? Try to Source a replacement keyboard and see if I borked the keyboard?

That's the thing about teams that can run and pass, either you can stop one or the other, but not both.

They stopped Barkley, but Hurts threw over the top, just about any time he wanted to or he just took off and ran himself.

The Chiefs defense was guessing and always behind what the Eagles offense was doing. Hurts kept Mahomes off the field and out of rhythm most of the game.

Eagles defense had a plan to bring pressure with 4, and they executed it to perfection.

The Chiefs were out matched in every way you can be, but they are a great team, just had a bad game. They still have 5 Super Bowl appearances in 7 years under Reid and Mahomes, and they won 3 of them.

No team would not call that a win.
