Don't know of any freeware utilities to defrag your drives off hand, but Norton Utilities does a bang up job of the task. I wouldn't expect you to have too much difficulty finding Norton Utilities.
Another method is to connect an empty drive to the bus, and then copy everything over to it. After verifying that the copy was successful, format (or otherwise empty) the original drive, and copy everything back to it.
Although perhaps cumbersome, this method has two things going for it:
1) It automatically creates a backup of your disk.
2) It uses no software that may have been obtained above room temperature.
Norton does a bang up job of banging up your disk... I'd stear clear, but if you have to, make sure you have at least a 4.x version of Norton as previous versions don't work with HFS+.
Alsoft PlusOptimizer might do the trick for you, but it's not free.
Or find version 2.1.x of DiskWarrior, with which PlusOptimizer was then bundled, as it was not with DW 3.x because OS X has its own way with defragmenting. See also a passing comment about NUM here.
