Daystar SE/30 Accelerator on Ebay

Nope. Without an adapter you can't use it on an SE/30 (and those adapters are expensive). You can use it as is on a IIci. $99 is very expensive for that card.

A 40MHz 030 accelerator that won't even work in the SE/30 you intended to use it in? You should have asked questions here first before bidding. No doubt you avoided that by thinking you would tip people off who would bid against you. But you took the risk and here you are!

My advice... Sell that thing on EBAY, get your money back, then invest in a booty kicking 50MHz 030:

Yes, 40MHz 040 accelerators are faster than the 50MHz 030, but the 030 is more compatible with the 040. I know because I have both cards and have tested both extensively with my SE/30's software collection, under System 6.x and 7.x and 8.1.

Read the description under my photo here for details about the 50MHz 030 DiiMO, how much it costs, and where to buy it (yes, brand new in the original box, never used):

Sure it costs a lot. But it's brand new, never used. And it's the single best accelerator I've found for the SE/30 in terms of speed versus compatibility. It also has a nice PDS pass-thru connector that let's you use another PDS card easily.

Will that 030 card fit directly in a SE/30 or do you need an adapter?

I have a ton of PDS accelerators but no adapter for SE30's so I use then in IIci machines or keep them in the stock shelf.

That question, among others, is answered in the description that I wrote underneath my photo here:

Yes, the 50MHz DiiMO works perfectly in an SE/30 without any special adapter.
