I was wondering s it possible to create with retro68 a disk image that boots and runs the app when the disk is inserted?
Just the way McFlip works [https://macintoshgarden.org/games/mcflip]
Use the Finder's Set Startup command to set the initial application to run when the disk is booted. This startup application name is stored in the disk's boot blocks.
