I really want to conquer a commodore 64. You'd think that the highest selling computer of all time would be easier to find for free. Maybe it's just not my time yet.
It's got a composite video output, so hooking it up to a 1702 is just a matter of getting an RCA cable/connector, and hooking it up. You'll also want to hook up audio, too, for a complete VIC multimedia experience.
Don't be overwhelmed by the mighty 3.5kB of RAM! How will you ever fill it all up?
To hook my C64 to a TV I had to use an RF modulator, it didn't work straight up. I think those old monitors had modulators built in or something because you didn't need one to use them.
You'll need to find a cable to use it with the 1702. Damn, that 1702 is a sweet monitor. I remember back in the day even us hardcore Atari guys used to all have Commodore monitors. It was the only thing we would give Commodore any credit for.
