Color classic issue

Just today my color Classic show the question mark after several years, pull out the HD and using a case plug it into my Classic and the disk is ok using Norton utilities find some problem fix it and put it back but question mark continúe, pull out again using the case and boot as a external unit everything is ok the disk is ok look that the internal scsi is the problem, any one has been with the same issue before?

Recap the motherboard. Clean the motherboard also. Too many threads on this already.

If you don't feel comfortable doing the recap yourself, get in touch with uniserver on here. He re-capped my Color Classic's logic board and it works great.

Thanks both for the reply, I know how to do it but the scsi bus has to be with the Recap that is the question computer is ok booking from the external case using is own hd.

You'd be surprised what can happen with bad caps. I had bizarre video issues on an LC once that seemed to be cap-related!

You will have nothing but issues until recap, that includes analog board/power supply. Low voltage to the system will be lessened by putting the drive in an external case.

Just look up portables and you'll see a clearer picture about what is being said.
