Classic Mac Confusion?!

I found 3 classic macs on the dock of a Computer place i go to. One is a working Macintosh SE, the other is a nonworking SE FD/HD and the other is a Mac Plus. I was getting ready to put them up on my shelf when i realized that there was a sticker at the bottom of the case that said M0001. I looked on the back and it said Macintosh Plus, Model M0001A. My question is, Is this an Original M0001 or a Plus, or both?

Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

Per Low End Mac, the "original" Macintosh (later "Macintosh 128K",) was M0001.

The 512K was M0001W.

The Mac Plus was M0001A.

The 512Ke was M0001E (or D for the educational model.)

Only upon the introduction of the SE and II was a Mac anything other than "M0001", potentially with a letter on the end.

It started life as a 128K but had the "memory upgrade" installed which consisted of a new logic board and back cover. I have a 512K that has this upgrade.

Nice score BTW :)
