Classic II Logic Board Lifted Pad Problem

Hi everyone,
In searching for answers to my problems as I begin the journey of recapping Mac logic boards, I found your website...been very helpful so far! But am now asking you for help/clarification on a Classic II logic board issue.

This board was my 'practice/learning' board and I did pretty good with all caps except for C21...I apparently wasn't too patient in letting it heat up enough and pulled both pads! Anyway, I've done more reading and know how to fix it, but would love clarification on which holes to connect the new wires too...

So, I'm pretty sure where I have to connect to, but could anyone confirm that I'm actually correct? I have the holes circled in yellow...

Thanks in advance for your time!

Sometimes you can just turn the cap and solder to the via. Give a little scrape for clean copper on via. Or you can use solder wick with solder in it and make new pads but attaching the wick to the vias then solder cap to the wick after.

Scrape back the silk screening to reveal the copper and place the cap at a slight angle, should be OK you might want to put a small dab of hot glue on it to keep still.

Thanks everyone for clarification, thoughts and time!

Since doing this particular board, I've done several others and did the snip the cap, then pull the innards of the cap off, then snip the feet, then heat with an iron to clean/remove. It's been working much better since I've gone that way.

For attempting to fix this goof I had, I was planning on doing the scrape a little and solder at an angle.
