I honestly had no expectations of finding anything worthwhile at the sale. I went with the hope of netting a biography or two but found nothing in the book section.
Then I spotted a huge pile of tapes. For a quarter each I snapped them up--six total (four were actually Christmas albums, but hey, July is right around the corner)
I checked out the rest of the sale. The very back had a kids section. And right on the end was Gizmos and Gadgets on CD. For fifty cents it was a bargain.
So for two dollars I got myself six tapes and a computer game. Easily over $100 in 1995. Plus I picked up that Depeche Mode Best Of CD I wanted today (new for $16) so it was money well spent for entertainment. (Heck, I could barely get two movie tickets for what I paid for all of that today).
