Changing Netscape Homepage? It keeps changing...

In my SE/30, I have Netscape 4.1? Installed. I'm pretty sure it's that, I'll have to turn it on and check.

So being so old, it freezes when it's connected to aol (The home page). I want to change it to something like lovand. When I go under options and preferences, and change the Homepage, it just switches back to home.netscape.com. I don't even close out of the browser. It's like it's not saving?? I don't see a save button anywhere. Or is the screen resolution too small so I can't see it?

Is there a way to change this through the files?

I remember Netscape 2.x required you to select a menu option to save your preferences.

I'm pretty sure this wasn't the case with 3.x and later, but who knows. I haven't used any version of Netscape after 2 because I don't have a need for Java (3.x) or the groupware (4.x) that later versions had.

The Netscape 4.X Preferences dialogue box is too tall for your screen and the OK/Cancel buttons are hidden. I had the same issue on my Colour Classic before doing a 640x480 screen mod. Even at 640x480, the buttons are partially cut off IIRC.
