Changing Keyboard Layouts (128k)

Hi Folks!

I have a UK spec Mac 128k with an orignal System 1.x boot disk. However, I'd like to run the recomended System 2.0/Finder 4.1 combo. I have a working version but the keyboard layout is set to US. Any idea how I would go about changing the layout to UK? Resedit?

ResEdit is indeed the way to do it. I would recommend using ResEdit 2.1.3 on an newer Mac, then sending the doctored System file to the 128k. There are older versions of ResEdit which can do the job, but they won't have the visual keyboard map editor.
