I would like to change some keys position in an Apple Keyboard II M0487. It simply a matter to pull them or do I need to open the keyboard? Are they glued (don't think so, but...) ?
On old systems (original Mac through Plus), the keys were angled slightly on the top row. I noticed this when I bought a keyboard for my Plus. Someone had re-arranged it as a QWERTY, but the A and the Q are not on the same row on French keyboards, so it looked really mad. It's back as an AZERTY since then .
Later keyboards don't have the same type of keys, so your Keyboard II is not concerned.
Be sure to have a good version of Localizer on system 6. That's how you change the keyboard layout if you opt for a layout that's not US or included in your localized OS (I guess italian)
You can use a flat head screwdriver to pull them out. Be careful not to lift the switch itself! Because it's soldered!
