I had avoided the Second-Coming Macs in an effort to keep my collection in check. My only criterion was that it had to have ADB - hence the B&W G3 being my last Mac.
However, in the last while, a Gigabit Ethernet G4 and an 1.5GHz PB G4 were given to me by a neighbour who left. These I gave to my son and daughter respectively.
I won an auction then for an MDD dual 1.25GHz along with the Apple Cinema Display (1920x1200) and speakers - in their original boxes too, no less. The Display is a fine thing but ADC only (alas). The auction was set at roughly USD20 and I couldn‘t resist this. And it will allow me to play Deus Ex at higher settings.
I now have 20 Macs at home ranging from the SE all the way up to a PB G4.
