Are the expansion interfaces on the Macintosh Classic and Macintosh Classic II physically the same, and by this I mean same number of pins, same spacing, same size, etc...?

I know the one on the Macintosh Classic is just for memory, while the one on the Macintosh Classic II is for an FPU and/or expansion ROM, but that's irrelevant to what I'm interested in.

After some more research, no, they are not physically equal. The RAM expansion card for the Classic has 44 pins, the FPU/ROM Card for the Classic II has 50 pins.

i tried to put the expansion card from a classic into classic 2 and it didnt boot, i though i fried it. but took it out and is still ok. so im assuming you cant do that

just in case someone was wondering
