Apple Network Server AIX

Hello smart cats,

Was just wondering if there is literally any information y'all have collected on setting up apache on AIX 4.1.5.

I hope I don't offend anyone when I say that aix is probably the most dog azz system I've used.

That being said, I wanna get a website up and running until I get my stuff to make a Mac os ROM.

I also wouldn't mind any fun software or anything y'all may have or know about to throw on it.

If you are looking for apache on AIX, I would start here. I have no idea if the open source AIX dl's would work or not on an ANS, but its a good place to start your research. Good luck.

Yeah i was messing around with that, stuff generally doesn't work, seems like any support for 4.1.5 died fast when 5 came out, it seems like everything I've found has been for 5 and I really don't wanna waste more CDs.

That's why atp I'm resorting to just asking for some sort of setup guide or something...Witt's end with AIX and I've only been using it for 4 days.

Not sure if he has any info on setting it up there, but remember reading he used to run apache on his ANS.

Yeah I found their server like an hour after reading this, I tried it B4 and thought it was down before I realized it was a gopher.

The guy who runs it is very nice, just a head up, you're gonna copy from it, they ask you do it v slowly and just grab whatcha need.
