Apple Multiple Scan 15 Displays Nothing

Hi,

This is the display I got with my nice Performa 637, and it doesn't seem to be working. It'll come on and sound like it's working, but the display will stay blank.

I did have it working when I first got it, and maybe once more, but every subsequent attempt has resulted in nothing but blankness.

Any ideas? I'd rather not junk it, as it's not just another PC monitor, and thus is harder to find a replacement for.

Dont junk it. Even if you do decide to get rid of it, send it to me! lol... 

Anyway, It might be worth taking the back off, and the shields off. Then from that point flexing the PCB a little bit while its powered up, see if it snaps back in with a picture. sometimes the solder joints on those fail. 

there is a pincushion control board on the rear behind the flyback that has a transistor I have seen fail as well.
