Apple Keyboard cleaning

I thought I clean underneath the keys by removing them, but I’m afraid to break them. What’s the simplest way? I’m also preparing the space bar for retr0brite. The Keyboard is an Apple Keyboard M0118.

I believe you can pry off the keys using a flat-head screwdriver, but I forget.

I am not responsible for any issues, problems, or damage caused to your keyboard. Sorry, but I'm a terrible person. But thanks! :p

Take apart the keyboard - top and bottom plastics - and use compressed air to blast out the dust from under the keys.  Not worth pulling off every one.  Cleaning the keys I find soapy bubbles + a toothbrush to scrub in works well, moving the brush up and down a "line" of keys.  Wipe off and use isopropyl alcohol to deep clean.

Flat-headed screwdriver and compressed air did the job, but it was painful! They’re really dug in hard. I’ll settle for the space bar for now.

Thank you both!

Thank you Anton! I’ll get the key puller before I clean another keyboard!

/K
