Has anyone experimented yet with SCSI ethernet + an Apple IIe card?
I was thinking of experimenting with the Apple IIe card's AppleShare Card feature that emulates an Apple IIe Workstation Card.
And I thought the second configuration would be straight forward, but I recently found a TIL article that seems to indicate I will need Apple II drivers for my Asante EN/SC SCSI to ethernet adapter? Macintosh LC w/Apple IIe Card: SCSI Ethernet Box & AppleTalk (TA48214).
"Our driver is designed to use the Apple Ethernet LC Card and not to look for the Ethernet connection from the SCSI port"
Not sure how that work since you can't install an ethernet card at the same time as the Apple IIe card in most systems !?!
And for the third... if the emulated Apple IIe has to talk directly to the hardware, this might not be possible.
So before I spin my wheels on this, I thought I'd ask to see if anyone has tried this already?

- First, over a legacy wired LocalTalk connection from my LC475 + Apple IIe card to my LC 630 DOS running an AppleShare file server sharing a ProDOS partition.
- Second, AppleTalk over ethernet using my LC475 + Asante EN/SC (SCSI ethernet) to the Ethernet connection on my LC 630 DOS
- Third, AppleTalk routed over a TCP/IP connection using IPTnnl, Apple Internet Router, or similar with my LC 475 and the SCSI Wifi feature of the ZuluSCSI / BlueSCSI adapters.
