Apple 17" Studio Display (M7649) orange power light

I recently acquired an Apple 17" Studio Display (M7649) from eBay and noticed that the power light in the lower right of the display has a unexpectedly orange hue. My first thought was there was some dirt inside the display, or that an LED was bad, but then in this teardown video the author commented on the same issue, remarking that it was an actual burn on the thin white trim between the light and acrylic.

I guess over time the light affects the white plastic trim??

I'm curious if anyone has run into the same problem and found a solution to restore the original color. Any suggestions appreciated!

No issue here....I can only surmise perhaps a monitor from a computer lab that was left on 24/7 for years?
