It ran on my PowerMac 7100 with OS 8.something (it died long ago), and I'm pretty sure it's a screensaver. I think it had something like 3D Enabled in the name, it had music and when it starts it shows the program's logo and cluster of sparking stars that were moving around. Then the screen looked like water puddle with rainfall rings.
After the intro ended, it just shows inside of a sphere in 3D with camera panning around the center object that looked like abstract sculpture of something like a few snakes twisted together. This 3D flying around is endless until someone wakes the Mac.
