Pretty much everyone has the Apple Legacy Software Recovery CD, but it is only part of a 4 disk set.

Anyone got the rest of them? I would get them from Apple, but Apple's secret server quit working :(

Apple Application Software Recovery CD

Apple System Software 1 Recovery CD

Apple System Software 2 Recovery CD

:)

I have the Apple SSW Recovery 2 February 2000 ISO file (best readable in Windows). If you want, I need to make the copy to you, but not now, later on to make the linky to macgeek417.

I'll see if I can find my copies (the Legacy was the only one I DON'T have at least two physical copies of.)

If I can, I'll image and BitTorrent them.

Let's see you have these AppleCare Recovery CDs (except Legacy CD) (this quote is came from List of Apple CDs topic):

"Support Professional" or AppleCare Technician Software Recovery discs:"For Power Macintosh computers before G3 - May 1999" (Includes Mac OSes 7.1.2, 7.5.3, 7.4.4, 7.6, 7.6.1, 8.0, 8.1, 8.5, plus software updates for just about any piece of software for any Power Mac; part of a 4-disc set, this is the only one I have.)

"For Power Macintosh computers before G3 - Aug 1999" (Basically the same as above, only newer.)

"For Power Macintosh G3 and iMac computers - Aug 1999" ((Includes Mac OSes 8.0, 8.1, 8.5, 8.5.1, 8.6; as individual "Generic" OS installs as well as divided up into installs for each computer. Plus "System Updates" and software updates for any software that might conceivably be supported on those computers in August 1999. This disc is bootable with Mac OS 8.6 as its OS. Part of a 4-disc set, with the disc above.)

"For Power Macintosh G3 and iMac - May 2000" (Basically the same as above, only newer. This was part of a 5-disc set, but this is the only one I have of this set. Despite its name, it also works on PowerBook G3, iBook, and the first gen Power Mac G4s; although Mac OS 9.0 was on a separate disc.)
7.4.4? Did you mean 7.5.5? However, the old version of Apple SSW Recovery CD 1 has the old Mac OS 7.5.x (7.5.3 and 7.5.5 are stable in newer versions) on the CD, this also means from the About System Software 7.5.3 file below:

Because of this, we have removed all previous versions of 7.5.x on this CD.

If he needs it, he can get the Legacy CD from my torrent.
System 7.5.x in Legacy CD = 68K SSW with PPC SSW - PPC SSW (version 7.5, 7.5.1, 7.5.2, 7.5.3, and 7.5.5) = 68K only (Sys75, 601upg, aws751, pbook53007.5.2, sys753).

That would be correct. Obviously a bit of a finger mis-reach. I acquired nearly the entirety of the rest of the May 2000 set; but alas, it, along with the rest of the discs above, are apparently in deep storage; and are not readily accessible.

You can get the first 2 System Software Recovery CDs here (British edition):

Sorry for the link above, you have to bid them first.

As my the hunting the google search, I found the lost and old pastebin since 11th August until deleted:

http://pastebin.com/d77bd70d3

with some quotes of SSW Recovery CD 1 on this:

Code:
691-0390-E System Recovery 5.99.cdr
691-0390-B System Recovery 8.98.cdr
691-0390-A System Recovery 3.98.cdr

OK... It looks like there was also a SSW recovery 3 with a system folder based on OS 9.04.

On the SSW 1 CD, it saya OS 9 ships on its own recovery cd. that must be it!
