Any thoughts on this....it arrived!!!

Just got the replacement boruns network resistor.

Swapped it with the blown one but still getting a short on the 5volt rail.

Looks like the network resistor was ok.

Must be a short further down the line.

allot of 74 logic chips on the board . I can just start swapping them out with replacements. Is there any way to show a chip to be blown with a multi meter?

Talk about a slow burner!! - this is going to take for ever

Update on motherboard, and other bits

Connected up the analog board to a Iie to see if I could get a display

Its still sitting on the shelf like Tech.

The last part was to fix the hard drive and see if I could access it, and see if i could get the videx card to work but i need the original board working. I got most everything else working.

But since this machine ,  I got a Lisa. Then a load of siemens nixdorf PC's ( playing half life on a pentium 166 with 32 meg of ram takes time!!)

Problem is time. 

Just havnt got back to it yet.

Then there is the crazy terminal i got.

3 atari st's came after that

I keep collecting stuff.

But I will get back to it eventually.
