Announcement: JQuickTake v1.3 Updates and Fixes

CAVEAT: I posted this in Peripherals, but thinking this sub is appropriate since it considers software dev.

For anyone that has been using, planning to use, or trying with mixed success to use JQuickTake to manage their Apple QuickTake 100/150 camera, I'd like to highlight some recent changes that have been implemented in the software.

Version 1.2 - A (really dumb) bug was preventing all Serial Ports from being included in the drop-down list in the application UI for 'Connect to Camera'. And under certain circumstances, the Serial Port being intended for the Camera (e.g. a USB serial port adapter) would not be listed in that drop-down. This has been corrected in Version 1.2.

Version 1.3 - JQuickTake, when establishing a connection to a Camera, follows a certain process to 'wake-up' the Camera and wait 1/10 of a second for the Camera to respond. Most of the time, this is more than enough time to wait for the Camera to 'wake-up'. However, it is possible this is too short of a timeout for certain types of USB-to-Serial adapters and the application will always determine it cannot connect to a camera. In this latest Version 1.3, JQuickTake will now wait up to 10 seconds for a Camera to 'wake-up'.

While there are other small changes included in these JQuickTake versions, I wanted to highlight these specific updates in case anyone is experiencing similar issues with JQuickTake.
