Yes, I just scored myself an Apple Adjustable Keyboard for ten bucks. Definitely a nice out of the blue surprise!!! It's missing a height adjuster on the back (which I never use anyway) but otherwise looks fine!!

Should update--also is missing the numeric keypad portion, but that's not a huge loss for me. (I wonder if Arthur Naiman ever bought one of these, since he hated keyboards with lots of bells and whistles? Read the Mac Bibles from way back and you'll find out about his dislike of "Star Trek keyboards" as he called them).

Also picked up a PRAM battery and a pink--yes, a pink--LED while out. I'd never seen a pink one before and I'm thinking of popping it in the IIcx I'm going to try to resurrect tonight...or maybe the 20SC enclosure I got in March that now has a 320MB drive inside it...

How well do the keyswitches (mushboard type) work on yours? Neither of mine is very reliable.

I don't think I've ever actually used the KeyPad. I wonder what idiot decided the Function and PageNav Keys should be tiny little little buttons?

This one feels a lot like an early Apple keyboard (the short version that often sold with the SE) although not quite as "clicky". The switches definitely are not mushy and are rather tactile. I'm not sure where it was made (it doesn't say on the back and I can't find any info for the "AP" manufacturing code before the serial number) but I do know that in other keyboard lines, the keyboards made in Mexico are usually mushiest.

I haven't hooked it up yet--got sidetracked tonight and didn't get around to working on the old Macs--but am waiting to test it. I know these keyboards are supposed to have reliability issues, but for $10, I figured it was worth the gamble and if all else fails, it can become a good summer project.

I've already got a half dozen KBD hacks stashed away . . . :-/

I've got one of these (I bought it new) and I really liked it, because it was a full keyboard when you wanted it, compact when you didn't. Congrats!

I got one with the Performa 200. The original owner must have upgraded at some time form the original keyboard. Well used, but I believe everything works.
