Managed to pick up a PM 9600/300 to go with my 8600/250. Still not found a full blown 9600/350 that I could afford yet, but this will do for now. Seller says it came from a graphic design house, so it has a few small upgrades. 512mb RAM, 4.5gb ultra SCSI with PCI controller card, ATi Rage 128 Pro 16mb video, PCI card with two FW 400 and 2 USB ports, comes with keyboard and mouse, hard drive loaded with Mac OS 9.1, Photoshop, Acrobat, and other miscellaneous graphic shop type goodies. Price? $21.50+$30 shipping but I recently received a Bing cashback credit for $12 which brought my total cost down to $39.50. ;D

Thanks. The seller says there's a minor boot up issue but that it works fine after that. I'm guessing there's a conflict between the PCI cards or possibly even a bad memory stick in there somewhere. It could even be an extension misbehaving. The cache memory on these Kansas motherboards has also been known to cause flaky behavior so that's also on the list of things to check. I'm sure that the bidding would have gone higher if not for that, or maybe everyone was too busy bidding on the BeBox to notice this one as they both finished around the same time.
