After Dark on OS 9

I think we all know that something with Mac OS 9 that causes the system to crash and burn the instant After Dark is loaded. Has there ever been a patch released that I cannot find that fixes this? I'm going into toaster withdrawl and MacDim is a horrible alternative.

Where to find? Maybe preterhuman, as I do remember seeing an unofficial patch/ hack either there, or at similar places.

Maybe so, but they have a hotline server, which can be accessed from OS9, and in the macintosh folder, I found this.
