The 32 bit section of the flexible PCI Riser is the same form factor/pin count as the larger half or the 6100 PDS Slot/Edge Card Connectors.
The blue electrical tape shields the PCB/Ribbon Cable soldered to a stubby edge card connector on Male & Female ends of the cable.
Lop the EdgeCard end off the cables for another project, leaving approximately 75mm/3" from the blue tape on the Slot/Female end connector
The shorter section of the Riser Slots will be cut off at any random point and then mated to the appropriately trimmed end of the second PCI Riser's longer sections.
The ribbon cables will be split off after the X-ACTO Razor Saw's ( it's a Micro Dozuki Noko [

] ]'> ) work is done.
The two sections of the cut off cables will be installed on the POS HPV Card and epoxied together along with splints.
After you have two good 6100 Flexible Cable PDS Slot "Lowsers" in hand, hopefully NOT epoxied to the HPV:
Cut the wires on the Female end of one pair of cables to approx 15mm from the Blue Tape.
Slit, strip, twist, solder & nip each matched pair of 75mm & 15mm connections according to sketch to be provided
AFTER I noodle-n-doodle.
Solder all nipped cable pair connections to the appropriate Thru Hole "Cones" of the matching PDS Pins on the bottom side of 6100 MoBo.
I'm considering using some kind of 7mm/20 mil metal tubing as an intermediary. I've got some RA M-F DB-XX Thru-Hole Connector parts I could cut to length, but I'm not sure it's worth the effort . . .
. . . doing it that way
should make keeping all the leads for each of the two connectors exactly equal in length . . .
. . . without adding an appreciable length to the connections . . .
. . . add shrink wrap . . . NAH! Neat and pretty ain't my style!
Insert G3 Accelerator Card into connector closest to PDS & the HPV Card into the Connector farthest from the PDS.
< . . . makes note to check tolerances for the second cable's optimal route . . . running under or over the Accelerator . . . >
Cross fingers and hope the 245s on the HPV card can drive a 70mm Ribbon Cable!
Insert head in oven and bake at 425 degrees F . . . until brain is fried.
