Firstly, I'd like to say Hi to all members of this most excellent forum, and to thank the members most sincerely for the wealth of knowledge and information they have provided me through their postings, and especially for their unstinting efforts to preserve and archive the priceless and ephemeral resources of years gone by. I wish I'd found this site much earlier!
I have been searching for a file or utility called 3DMFOptimizer for a very long time now. I know it was released as freeware sometime in the mid-to-latter 1990's, and from what I've been able to discover I believe there are 4 versions. I have actually gotten the last version (4) from the author's own website, but unfortunately it is too 'enhanced' to run on my set-up, and apparently the same is true of the previous version (3). Very recently (through info gleaned in this forum) I was able to locate the earliest version (1), but, again unfortunately, although the utility itself runs well, it's output is not readable by the target program, which will only accept output from version (2), at the earliest.
Could anyone give me any info or provide any assistance in tracking down this version?
