3D Printed Floppy Gears from Shapeways

Just wanted to thank Stephen for making this model. I used resin 3d printer to print this gear and it worked great! Video

That's a great print — did you use an ultrasonic cleaner?

Appreciate you sharing a video for everyone else to see. Do you find the 3D printed gear is louder than the original? A lot of people mention this about the gears available for sale online but I have to admit I didn't pay enough attention to my "before" drives to have a comparison.

Stephen not sure you are active still in this thread as this is an old post.
I printed your gear and it works great. I used a Anycubic Photon Mono 4K. I am hunting for the files for the gear that a 2mb drive uses as these do not fit. This is for a Sony MP-F75W-12G with an eject motor made by sawn MMG-7. This the 2mb floppy for a Centris 610 machine. If you know of a plan out in the public domain where I can print my own would be great.
