333mhz Grape iMac G3!

They were just typing practice. (some even typing pages out of the books included) I kept them for the same reason I keep candy wrappers, food packaging, and office supply packaging. In case I "ever need them." (which is probably never) What if that person is dead?…quite a thought

I finished restoring the iMac. I feel this is $96.01 well spent! It included the Macintosh Products Guide for Winter 2000 on CD-ROM sealed. Think I should open it?

On the Install disc there's some song called "Thank You" that sounds like "I thank you for asking [that day or that way or something] I'm doing fine, sooo fine" in the CD Extras. Anybody know what it is? It's almost as great as the music video from 8.1.

The MacHome CD contained tons of software! There were demos for Photoshop 5.5, Canvas 7, and countless game demos. Even though that's all great, I enjoy the freeware called Duck on the disc, which is a duck that quacks.

Complete with non-matching keyboard and mouse, no discs, no box, etc.

I'd say that any given thing is "worth" whatever you want to pay for it, not whatever eBay thinks is the lowest price.

I don't always format the drives I get either. The Duo still has all the previous owner's documents on it although I don't tend to look at them. Haven't really used the machine much to justify booting it up and cleaning it out.

Looking up what song it may be now. I assume the music video in 8.1, you're referring to "The Old Apartment" by the Barenaked Ladies. Was quite a catchy tune. Now it's confined solely to my install discs and off my HD, think about it, a video entitled "The Old Apartment - Bakenaked Ladies" often gets a few awkward stares from friends and parents alike! ;) :p

Actually I think it might be One Week by Barenaked Ladies. Unless that's on another OS disk.

I'm almost sure the One Week video came on some operating system, but it probably was either a late version of 8.x or a version of 9.x

My copy of 8.0 has "The Old Apartment" on it. My copy of 9.0 has "Call and Answer" on it.
Well, unless I'm going insane, it must be 8.5, 8.6, or one of the later versions of 9. *checks*

Where are these songs? I've never seen any songs or videos on any of my system disks...
I can't find them on system restore disks, but on the retail versions they're in the quicktime samples folder(or quicktime extras, i forgot which)
