The IIsi-based ROM is less picky about which RAM is in which slots. It will work with RAM only in bank B for example. If you don’t care about the in Rom disk images, or disabling the memory check, is there any other advantage to replacing the ROM over mode 32?

The Rominator II doesn't come with the fitment clips, because BMOW was able to find a PCB manfacturer who could make the proper 0.5 mil size:Rominator II looks a good option except for the altered logo and the slot fit issue.
There’s also the ROM from the AirTalk Shop, I have one (works great).SMC (Satanic Mac Club / Kero's Mac Mods) ROM
