2 external 3.5 floppy drives for $1.50!!!

These were mixed in with a bunch of cables, mice, apple talk stuff, mics, etc being sold on eBay. I guess a lot of people passed it up assuming it was just a bunch of old cables. But if you clicked through the pictures posted these 2 gems popped out. I waited until the last minute and put in my bid. I scored the whole lot for $1.50!

The drive covers are pretty yellow:

I dropped them in some peroxide/oxy:

Waited a few hours.....

....and the results were dramatic:

They feel right at home wth my Plus and SE.

... if you have a spare 1.44MB floppy drive (the old original style, not the newer slimmer 3.5" ones in later 68K models), you can shoehorn it in the external case for high density goodness
